Pray!

Can I just put in a post for prayer? I am too tired and overwhelmed to even write why right now, but I need people praying. Pray for answers because without them, life is not looking good.

If I find my ability to think and write, I will try to write what is going on. Just not right now.

Am praying! I have been for a while. You've been sounding burnt out on your blog. You don't know me. I found your blog on Coffeegirlconfessions.

Lord, I pray right now for my friend Ellie...I don't know all the details, but I thank you that you do and that you are close to her right now. I know that because you have said in your Word that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

God, I wish that I could drop in for a visit with Ellie and share about our lives and struggles over a cup of coffee (or 2 or 3!) and be there to encourage her, put my arm around her, and let her know in a tangible way that there are people out there praying for her! But I can't, I'm thousands of miles away...but you, Lord, are right there with her in this situation. Let her know today how much you care, how much you want for her to have peace and sense your love. If it be possible, send Ellie someone she loves and trusts to encourage her and lift her up.

Thank you, God, for hearing my prayer.

Love, Becky

Praying...I have been for awhile...
You are a 'sister', and when one of us hurts it affects many.
May you experience His peace that passes ALL understanding.

Thank-you to all of you. I am definitely feeling better today, more encouraged, less like a driftwood in high surf. The situation has not yet changed, and I have not heard news yet, but I am trusting. It was good to know, though, that people are praying!

Today, I meet with one of the leaders who is finally back home. This is the one who started to act the first time, and has had some impact in this situation. So pray for that, for wisdom.

Kids are doing ok. It is only my oldest son who really grasps more of what is going on, but he has amazing faith for his age. He struggles, but he talks openly with me, too.
