Books, books, books!

A Christian bookstore in our town is going out of business. (Ok, I guess it is not good to celebrate their bad news...)

But books are on sale!! Yeah! All books - $2. I'm going shopping! I list what I got here later. I am a "read once and pass on"type, so if there is a book you really, really want to read.... ask.

Oh, boy! Um, I like anything by Max Lucado, Karen Kingsbury, Ted Dekker...ack! can't remember all my favorite authors! :) And most of our children's books got left in Venezuela. :( Wish I could be there, I LOVE books! Have fun!

Didn't see many of those - they are books of which I am not familiar. Being out of reading while being mommy for awhile might just mean that I am ignorant. But they get a new shipment in every few days, so I will go back, and will keep my eyes open.

Wow! What an opportunity! That's too bad for the bookstore, though. Wish I knew where you were... :-) I used to work for a Christian book distributor and I knew just about every little independent bookstore all across the US! I love to read too! There's a LOT of great Christian fiction out these days. Pick some up, and pass it on to me!!! :-)

I'll pass some your way, Sarah. I was thinking of you when I looked at a few books.

Working for a book distributor - now that would be a nice job!

Becky, I did see stuff my Max Lucado. I look again when I go back. I looked only a little at the kid's books, but the supply of those were limited besides the gushy girls romances for teens - yuck! I think the kid's books got snapped up for gifts right away.
The books are getting even cheaper in two days...

Oh, well, just pick something! :) I have a lot of books I'd like to read, but then it's hard to think of them unless I'm browsing at the store!
